What is the Summer Reading Program?

The Summer Reading Program has something for everyone! There are many ways to participate. You can attend a program at the library, visit the Outreach team at a community event, and track your participation online to earn points and win prizes!

You can earn points, complete fun challenges, and win awesome prizes by participating in Summer Reading at Maricopa County Reads

Maricopa County Reads is an online summer reading program for all ages! This year’s slogan is “Color Our World”. Pre-registration begins May 1 and you can start logging activity from June 1 to August 1, 2025. Its aim is to help maintain and improve literacy skills and emphasize the fun of reading for participants of all ages.
